Cars, Cars, Cars!
There is something about cars from the 1950's. I don't know exactly what it is, but there is something. I want nothing more than to have one of these babies. I love the colors that they are painted, i love the interior detail, i love the way they smell and most of all i love how they are made so well that they run today. Dad, if you are reading this, please buy me one! A '55 Pontiac Cheiftain?

Dreaming of a Vintage Kitchen!
To me, the kitchen is the most iconic element of a mid-century home. When I'm older, I hope to find a home with a kitchen like the ones in those photos. If I can't I don't know what I'd do. Certainly not granite!

Advertising
I love 1940's and 50's advertising. I don't know why people don't still advertise like this?

Luxton Lake: Beautiful!
Although not completely midcentury, this is a beautiful home. If I had the money and weren't 16, you know i would be moving to Luxton Lake and buying an awesome cabin like hers.

First Post!
Hello!
I am really excited to be starting a blog. This blog is hopefully going to be discussing the adventures of the past. I think i am going to try to post a lot about vintage, 1940's and 1950's things, i just don't know exactly what! Hopefully I'll find out. Thanks for stopping by, maybe next time there will be a cool vintage post. I will leave you with a picture of my new television set, 1954 Zenith model M2228ru, now I just need to get it working again!
